What kind of padlock should I use for my storage unit?

We recommend using a high-quality padlock with a minimum 40mm shackle. We offer both keyed and combination padlocks.

Do you sell secure padlocks on-site?

Yes. We keep a stock of tried-and-tested padlocks at our reception, all suitable for use with our storage units. You don’t need to shop around or risk buying something that doesn’t fit.

Just pop in and pick one up when you get your keys, or bring your own if you already have a favourite.

What makes a good storage padlock?

A good storage padlock is one that lasts. That means a tamper-proof design, and a solid feel in your hand.

Ours are chosen for reliability; they’ve been used across hundreds of units without issue.

Can I use my own padlock?

Of course! It’s your unit, your choice. If you’ve already got a padlock you trust, bring it along. Just make sure it fits our unit hasps securely.

If it doesn’t, we’ll help you sort something on the spot. The main thing is making sure your belongings are locked up safe and sound.
